![]() ![]() “About moving in with me?” Liam’s head whirls up in a quick and effortless motion. “So I’ve been thinking…” I mumble when the table seems too awfully quiet. Liam and I thank him for the seats as he hands us the menus before leaving to get our drinks. It’s a good trick I’ve used far too many times myself, and it’s worked. ![]() When we get to the restaurant we are immediately seated in what the waiter says is the best table in the house, although I am sure he is bluffing for the sake of a good tip that I am more than willing to help with. “Yeah, yeah,” I dramatically grab the collar of his fancy coat and pull him down for a quick kiss. Just when I think he’s about to say no, he surprises me by saying otherwise. He is reluctant for a couple of moments, contemplating the idea over and over again in that big head of his. Besides, with the load of advice I’m going to need from him, the least I could do is pay for lunch. “Okay but I want to cover it, allow me,” I bat my mascara coated lashes at him, hoping that by pulling this sweet and innocent face he’ll give into my request. “What?” He chuckles and finds my statement more amusing than serious when I am being very serious. “Just letting you know, though, that this small lunch date is on me.” “Have been,” I try to read his thoughts but there’s something in the way that won’t allow me. With the way he sucks his right cheek in I would assume he is pleased with the floral print dress I figured was appropriate for this perfect spring weather. “Ready to go?” He asks as he eyes my outfit up and down the length of my body. I’m not complaining, I get to flaunt him today. A new suit? New haircut? Freshly trimmed beard? I wonder if there’s a special occasion for the whole thing. Mainly because I am starving and he looks extremely handsome today. “A call would’ve been deeply appreciated.” I pout but accept his apology anyway. “I’m so sorry.” He mumbles against my lips. He pushes me gently against the wall in a desperate attempt to kiss me harder, it’s difficult to keep up with the movement of his skillful mouth. “Hey-” I try to say as Liam’s mouth is crushed against mine. I nod with approval over my before heading towards the door and being greeted in the most exaggerated way possible. I’ve just added some final touches to my half up ponytail to make it more slicked back and uniformed. Unexpectedly, the abrupt knock at the dorm door frightens me as the room had been eerily quiet. I fear that this will only be temporary, as it always turns out to be before something comes along and knocks me off cloud nine. I’m not looking to either.Įverything’s just been moving at an incredibly fast rate I haven’t gotten the chance to sit back and enjoy a moment of how good things are going. Ever since the sick fuck listened in on what we did a few months back, I am not allowed to be in the house alone with him. Although I know Johnny will be there every moment of every day to spite me, Liam wouldn’t allow it either. We’ve made time for each other this week somehow with our busy schedules, it’s a miracle work is lightening up, I could really use a few days off to go home and visit my family. I’m alone in the dorm today, Alexis has been MIA since this morning and my boyfriend is taking forever to pick me up when he said he’d be here ten minutes ago. His opinions are always wise, he knows when a decision is a good one. It’s not like I am making my final decision today, but the visit could help in deciding whether I want to accept the internship or not. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to check out this place, just a look. The man’s words have stuck to me like gum on a shoe. It could be the first step into my lifelong dream of being an actual writer. ![]() Things like that don’t just come and go at any moment in time, it’s something I should take into consideration. I haven’t contacted him about it at all, I’d be surprised if the opportunity was still up for grabs. Now that I’ve some time to take a much needed breather, I still sit on the offer that was made to me by a very generous man to work as an intern at an actual publishing house. Besides, Liam has Alex to protect him when I can’t. There’s no way he’s going to let it go, if he isn’t pressing charges, he’s got to be plotting something. He’s glad he’s got rid of that burden, though I still worry about what Ben plans to do. Now that Bennett won’t be a problem anymore, Liam’s more visible relaxed. Liam and I have managed to forget about it and choose to focus on us instead. Things remain extremely calm days after the incident. ![]()
